Broadlawns Medical Center is your community teaching hospital with more than 85 years of caring and commitment for residents of Polk County. Our mission is to meet the health care needs of all Polk County residents through the provision of high quality health services and the training of tomorrow's health care professionals. We work collaboratively with our community, patients and providers to achieve excellence in health care. From the Emergency Department to the Family Birthing Center, from the Primary Care Clinic to the Foot and Ankle Clinic, our extraordinary team of physicians and professional health care providers is dedicated to helping you improve your health.

With more than 16,000 inpatient visits and 170,000 emergency and clinic visits in 2009, our expansion and renovation project is more critical than ever. We look forward to completing the first phase, when we will open the new emergency department, the fixed MRI and the new Broadlawns Medical Group Building.
