Status: Full Time, & Part Time
Shift/Hours: 12pm-8pm, & 8-4/4-mid
Pay Grade: PP-3 Minimum: $11.70
Job Description: Under the clinical supervision of the manager of residential facilities the primary responsibilities of the residential certified medication aide are to develop and implement individual program plans, serve as an advocate and role model for all group home clients, plan and supervise client activities, insure medication administration is completed per regulations, assist clients in adjusting to community expectations, document observations and the results of all interventions, uphold client rights including the right to confidentiality and maintain the group home
Qualifications: HS Diploma or equivalent, 1 yr. clinical exp. working with persons with mental disabilities, ability to teach, train and model the skills necessary for clients to pursue more independent living, valid IA drivers license and proof of insurance, ability to obtain CDL within first 90 days of employment, completion of a state approved Medication aide course
