Jody Jenner
President and CEO
Jody Jenner, President and Chief Executive Officer, Broadlawns Medical Center, assumed his responsibilities on April 3, 2006. Before his arrival at Broadlawns, he was the Chief Executive Officer and Administrator of the Pipestone County Medical Center, an affiliate of Avera Health System, in Pipestone, Minnesota. Prior to his employment in Pipestone he was with the Banner Health System and held hospital chief operating officer positions in Wyoming and South Dakota. Preceding his career in healthcare, Mr. Jenner held various management and leadership positions in finance and administration with the IBM Corporation.
Mr. Jenner graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (Economics) and a Master of Business Administration degree, both from the University of South Dakota. He also graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelors of Science in Nursing degree from Creighton University in Omaha, Nebraska. He is a registered nurse and a licensed nursing home administrator.

Susan Kirstein, RN, MSN, CNE-BC
Chief Nursing Officer
Susan Kirstein is proud to have been a Broadlawns nurse since 1987. She has served in the positions of staff nurse in the Family Birthing Center and OB Clinic, Director of Women's Health Services, Director of Imaging Services, Operations Director for Acute Care, and presently as Chief Nursing Officer. In this position, Susan is responsible for the coordination of nursing services, quality and accreditation compliance across the medical center.
Susan received a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Grand View College, a Master of Science in Nursing from The University of Iowa, and is ANCC certified in Nursing Administration. She is a member of the Association of Women's Health, Obstetric, and Neonatal Nurses, the Iowa Organization of Nurse Leaders, the American Organization of Nurse Executives and the Iowa and National Associations for Healthcare Quality.

Vincent Mandracchia, DPM, MHA
Executive Vice President / Chief Medical Officer
Dr. Vincent Mandracchia is Executive Vice President and Chief Medical Officer for Broadlawns Medical Center. Dr. Mandracchia attended the Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and graduated in 1976. His residency in foot and ankle surgery was completed at Metropolitan Hospital in Philadelphia in 1978. Dr. Mandracchia is Board Certified in foot & ankle surgery by the American Board of Podiatric Surgery and in reconstructive rear foot and ankle surgery by the American Board of Lower Extremity Surgery. He also received a Masters Degree in Health Care Administration from Des Moines University in 1994.
In 1995, Dr. Mandracchia joined the faculty of Broadlawns Medical Center. Prior to his arrival at Broadlawns, he held the position of Associate Professor of Podiatric Medicine at Temple University (1978-1984), private practice in the Philadelphia and New Jersey areas (1984-1992), Clinical Professor of Podiatric Medicine at Des Moines University (1992-2005), Consulting Editor of the Clinics in Podiatric Medicine and Surgery (1999-2008) and Trauma Section Editor of the Journal of Foot and Ankle Surgery (2004-2007). Throughout his tenure with Broadlawns Medical Center, he has worn different hats serving as the Director of Podiatric Surgical Residency Training; Section Chief of Foot and Ankle Surgery, and President of the Medical Staff (2005). Dr. Mandracchia has published over 55 articles and textbook chapters on topics related to the lower extremity.
Dr. Mandracchia is an active member of the American Podiatric Medical Association, American Society of Podiatric Surgeons, Iowa Podiatric Medical Society, American College of Healthcare Executives, American College of Physician Executives and the Physician Leader Constituent Group of the Iowa Hospital Association where he serves as Vice-Chairman.

Mikki Stier, MSHA, FACHE
Senior Vice President
Government and External Relations
Mikki Stier is the senior vice president of government and external relations at Broadlawns Medical Center, a publicly funded community hospital in Des Moines, Iowa. The hospital is supported by eight specialty clinics and more than 300 staff physicians and nurse practitioners who provide medical, surgical, mental, and primary care services to residents in the city.
Ms. Stier has more than 29 years of health care experience in several states, having worked with hospital startup, restructuring, development and growth in a number of executive positions.
In her current job, she is charged with strategy, new business, and network and Foundation development. In addition, Ms. Stier is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and organization of the auxiliary and the Foundation. She also leads Broadlawns’ advocacy, health policy, public relations and marketing efforts, and has helped her hospital raise new and significant sources of revenue from the county, state and federal governments over the last several years.
Ms. Stier has a M.S.H.A. from the University of Colorado; a B.S. in Occupational Therapy from Colorado State University; and is a Fellow in the American College of Healthcare Executives. She serves on several local and national boards working to develop key legislative contacts and health policy. Ms. Stier is active in a number of professional affiliations and health-related community initiatives. In 2008 and 2011 she received the American College of Healthcare Executives Service Award for her services. She is currently the Regent for the State of Iowa for the American College of Healthcare Executives.

Albert N. White, CPA, MBA
Senior Vice President
Business Services
Al White is the Senior Vice President of Business Services for Broadlawns Medical Center in Des Moines, Iowa. Mr. White has held this position since September 29, 2003. As the Medical Center’s Chief Financial Officer Mr. White is directly responsible for the areas of general accounting (including payroll and accounts payable), budget and cost reporting, patient financial services (including financial counseling and billing), information technology, and general services (including materials management and dietary services).
Mr. White has worked in public accounting and contract management in addition to over twenty-five years experience as Chief Financial Officer for hospitals in Indiana, Illinois, Kentucky, and Iowa.
Mr. White is a Certified Public Accountant and holds a Master of Business Administration Degree from Indiana University. His professional memberships include the Healthcare Financial Management Association and various committee assignments for the Iowa Hospital Association.
