Ophthalmic Technician

Job Description

Under the direction of the Optometrist/Ophthalmologist, performs selected patient care tasks for patients of all ages, gender, cultures, and backgrounds in the clinic setting. In addition, laboratory and office duties are performed as needed.

Qualifications

Certified Ophthalmic Assistant certification. Associate's degree from a recognized program of optometric technology within 6 months of hire, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Ability to refract.
