Job Description
Weekend package hours are compensated at an additional 45%. Position is eligible for benefits including health insurance and IPERS.
Performs analyses on blood and body fluids to aid health care providers in the diagnosis, prognosis, and treatment of patients. Moderate and high complexity testing may include manual or automated techniques using sophisticated instrumentation. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: instrument operation and maintenance, troubleshooting assays, evaluating test results for accuracy, resulting test values in a timely manner, and assisting with interpreting results.

Qualifications
Graduate or student graduating within six months with an Associate's degree in Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) or Clinical Laboratory Technician (CLT) OR a Bachelor’s degree in MLS, CLS, or MT OR Bachelor's degree in related field plus Certificate in MLS, MCLS, or MT, recognized b NAACLS.
Certification by the American Society of Clinical Pathologists (ASCP) or equivalent is required within six months of employment.
