Job Description

Under the supervision of the Plant Operations - Manager, the locksmith maintains inventory, does preventative and corrective maintenance on doors and locks, creates and maintains hierarchy on key system, makes and maintains key making equipment, maintains key computer system and installs and maintains card access system. Additionally this position could provide backup assistance to the Boiler Plant Operators, with the proper licensing, as needed under the direction of the Manager.

Generally Monday-Friday, 8am-4:30pm

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED. Experience with key system management. Ability to communicate in a pleasant, positive and effective manner with staff, customers, visitors and all levels of Hospital management. Is able to physically complete all of the tasks assigned to the position on a regular basis, including but not limited to excessive lifting, working in extreme cold or extreme hot weather, and being able to complete outside winter work, including snow shoveling for extensive periods of time.
