Steve received his Bachelor of Science from Colorado Christian University and Master of Arts from Denver Seminary.
Before becoming a counselor, Steve was an outreach worker at local homeless camps in Des Moines. Steve saw that many homeless teens and adults struggled with addiction and he wanted to help. This led him to becoming a Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CADC). Outside of work, Steve likes to read, fish, and visit the Rocky Mountains in Colorado.
