Emergency Department

The Emergency Department at Broadlawns Medical Center consists of a dedicated team of physicians and nurses and other health professionals that provide exceptional care and compassion to every patient we serve.  The Emergency Department is prepared and equipped to provide comprehensive and efficient care and treatment to a wide variety of medical, surgical and psychiatric emergencies.

Our new Emergency Department is conveniently located at the front entrance of the hospital.  Board certified physicians provide 24 hour coverage.  Emergency Department nurses receive and participate in specialized training including advanced adult and pediatric life support and trauma nursing.

Broadlawns is verified as a Level 3 Trauma Center.  The Emergency Department averages 35,000 patient visits per year and exceeds the national standards for length of stay and quality care.
