Emergency Department

The emergency department at Broadlawns Medical Center is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to treat emergencies that cannot wait for an appointment.

The physicians and medical professionals in this department are prepared to treat a wide range of medical, surgical and psychiatric emergencies. Board-certified physicians staff and manage the emergency department, and emergency department nurses are trained in advanced adult and pediatric life support and trauma nursing. Several staff RNs are also certified in emergency nursing.  

The goal of Broadlawns Medical Center’s emergency department is to provide timely access to physicians and emergency care. Our emergency department exceeds national standards for length of stay and quality of care.
