Why I chose Broadlawns
While Tami was working in an emergency crisis setting, she chose psychiatry as a specialty after she saw the need for individuals to have access to other options for mental health care. Tami chose Broadlawns because of its patient population with a variety of backgrounds. Having spent time living overseas, She had experienced the difficulties of seeking care in a country that was not my own. Tami has also witnessed the uneasiness of those who come out of fear and distrust. Her desire has been to make that transition easier for those who are seeking out care for the first time or returning for care. Tami believes with mental health it is essential we provide a level of compassionate and comprehensive care that empowers them with hope while they develop resilience in their journey.
