Bras for the Cause

Bras for the Cause has been a vital partner in ensuring that Central Iowa women, including those who are uninsured or underinsured, have access to breast health education, state of-the art mammography screenings, and lifesaving cancer screenings at Broadlawns.

Delta Dental of Iowa

A steadfast supporter of Broadlawns Medical Center, Delta Dental of Iowa’s generosity has improved the health and smiles of families who receive care at the Broadlawns Dental Clinic. In 2017, Delta Dental of Iowa made a generous gift to support the construction of a new Broadlawns Dental Clinic located in the Broadlawns Medical Plaza which expanded access to comprehensive oral medicine as well as endodontics and future specialty services including orthodontia, oral surgery and pediatrics. Delta Dental continues to be an unwavering partner to Broadlawns in innovating community care.

Prairie Meadows Racetrack & Casino

Prairie Meadows has been a lead partner in the revitalization of the Broadlawns Medical Center Campus and in providing high-quality care for all of our community members. Their support has funded Broadlawns’ state-of-the-art Emergency Department, Mental Health Inpatient Unit, and Family Birthing Center. Most recently, Prairie Meadow’s generosity has supported the purchase of a new stereotactic breast biopsy system and 3D mammography system, which are set to offer life-saving breast imaging care to our community in 2023. 

Principal Financial Group Foundation

Principal has shared Broadlawns’ commitment to expanding access to mental health and caring for underrepresented populations in our community. For years, Principal has supported Broadlawns’ youth and adult mental health programs, FOCUS, refugee health programs, and our TEACH/TECH job training program for at-risk youth and adults.

UnityPoint Health

UnityPoint Health is an incredible partner in addressing the healthcare needs of Central Iowans. Their generosity allowed for expansion and modernization of Broadlawns’ 15,000 square-foot emergency department, which included a covered ambulance bay, expanded trauma treatment areas, and a separate mental healthcare observation area.

Variety - The Children's Charity of Iowa

Variety - the Children's Charity of Iowa is dedicated to improving the lives of the underprivileged, at-risk and critically ill children served at Broadlawns. Variety has supported Broadlawns in a myriad of ways, ranging from vans for our children’s mental health programs and teddy bears for our ER patients to lifesaving equipment in our nursery and improvements to our Women’s Health Clinic as well as the equipment and furnishing needs of our Family Birthing Center. In 2009, Variety made a lead gift to move the Broadlawns Pediatric Clinic into an expanded and enhanced space in the Broadlawns Medical Office Building. In 2020, Variety’s generosity supported enhancements to the Pediatric Clinic to foster safety in the face of the COVID-19 pandemic. Most recently, Variety is generously supporting a remodel of the Variety Broadlawns Pediatric Clinic to expand and enhance care.
