Volunteer Opportunities

At Broadlawns Medical Center our volunteers are priceless. If you are looking for a rewarding opportunity to help those who truly appreciate your time and talents, Broadlawns has a place for you!

Broadlawns is seeking motivated, dependable and customer service oriented individuals to volunteer. Volunteers must be over the age of 16.

Volunteers opportunities include:

  • Broadlawns Foundation Gift Shop (re-opening this summer)
  • Volunteer Chaplin
  • Other positions as needed

If you are interested and able to make a commitment to volunteer a weekly service shift, we invite you to complete a preregistration form. Once preregistration has been approved, there will be additional required onboarding including: attending a volunteer information session, submitting to a criminal background check, providing confidential references, providing proof of mandatory vaccinations and completing a health screening.

If you have questions about volunteering, please email foundation@broadlawns.org or call (515) 282-8557.

Broadlawns Medical Center is requiring all volunteers to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 by November 1, 2021. At Broadlawns, attending to the health and well-being of our community is at the forefront of everything we do. View more details about this requirement.
