Broadlawns Announces Opening Date for Cityville Clinic

Des Moines, Iowa (October 31, 2019) – Broadlawns Medical Center announced that the newly constructed Broadlawns Cityville Clinic will open on Monday, November 11, 2019. The clinic is located within the Cityville on 9th development that is located at 580 SW 9th Street and will provide family medicine, urgent care, internal medicine and women’s healthcare with on-site lab and radiology services.

“Broadlawns is pleased to expand access to healthcare for Polk County residents living downtown and in south Des Moines neighborhoods,” said Jody Jenner, President and CEO of Broadlawns Medical Center. “For the past couple of years, we’ve explored options for relocating our downtown clinic, and the Cityville location addressed our needs for increased visibility, parking and access to public transportation.”

The Broadlawns Cityville Clinic medical staff includes: Michael Foggia, DO, Carole Frier, DO, Kaye Frye, ARNP and Rachel Parker, DO. Clinic hours will be Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., Saturday and Sunday from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Broadlawns accepts all forms of health insurance. A public open house is scheduled for Thursday, November 7, 2019 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. The FuseDSM Chamber of Commerce will host a ribbon cutting ceremony, and light refreshments will be served.
