Why I chose Broadlawns for my residency?
I chose Broadlawns for residency because I feel it provides an excellent opportunity to become a well-rounded family physician capable of handling anything while also being able to explore more particular passions. In addition, I was able to rotate at Broadlawns as a medical student and loved the open, supportive environment. Overall, it just felt like the perfect fit for me!
Hobbies
My favorite hobby is traveling, especially internationally; I really enjoy learning about other cultures, listening to stories, and trying new things. Otherwise, I love spending time with family/friends, reading, doing puzzles, and am always on the lookout for a great cup of coffee!
Favorite thing to do in Des Moines?
My favorite thing in Des Moines is the Farmer's Market; I never leave without a loaf of almond bread! I also like spending time at any of the coffee shops in town.
