Kacey Davis, FNP-BC is Director of Health and Wellness for Dotdash Meredith Corporation with headquarters in New York City and Des Moines.
She entered health care in 2013, earning a MS degree in Nursing at DePaul University in Chicago. Later, she earned a Family Nurse Practitioner certificate from St. Louis University. Her experience includes working at Rush University Medical Center emergency department in Chicago. As a family nurse practitioner, Kacey worked full time at Primary Health Care, Inc., a federally funded central Iowa healthcare organization. Kacey treated patients at PHC Clinics, the CISS on-site clinic, and a school-based clinics. In addition to her education in health care, Kacey earned a Degree in Business Administration from the Tippie College of Business at the University of Iowa.
Her volunteer activities included Young Women's Resource Center Board of Directors, Best Buddies, Cabrini Green Tutoring Program in Chicago, and volunteer medical missions to Guatemala and Haiti. In Guatemala, she helped operate traveling clinics in remote areas, conducting disease prevention seminars and wellness training. In Haiti, she was part of the Community Health Initiative based in Iowa City. CHI provides direct patient care in remote areas, with a focus on HIV and maternal child health.
Kacey was born and raised in Des Moines, graduating from Roosevelt High School. She and her husband reside in Des Moines with their toddler. In their free time, they enjoy hiking, swimming, and other outdoor activities.
