Recognition of Service Excellence (ROSE) Award

The ROSE Award for Service Excellence recognizes Broadlawns team members who make a difference in the patient and visitor experience.

While nurses are honored through the DAISY Award, the ROSE Award recognizes the many other team members who support patient care every day.

Who is Eligible?

Patients, visitors, and employees may nominate any Broadlawns team member who is not eligible for the DAISY Award.

This includes staff across the organization, such as:

  • Patient access and registration Clinical and non-clinical support staff
  • Environmental services
  • Food and nutrition services
  • Transport and other care support roles

What does the ROSE Award Recognize?

ROSE Award recipients go above and beyond in how they care for patients, families, and each other.

This may include someone who:

  • Took extra time to help a patient or family member
  • Made a difficult situation easier
  • Stepped in to support a coworker
  • Delivered care with kindness, respect, and attention to detail
