About
Erin is an LMSW who graduated with her Master's degree in Social Work from the University of Iowa. Erin is trained to work with survivors of traumatic events, self-esteem, grief and loss, relational challenges, distorted thinking patterns, emotional intensity, addictive behaviors, chronic worry and despair, and self-acceptance. Erin uses therapeutic models such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to aid in the healing process. Erin is a native of Des Moines enjoys biking, live music, being in nature, reading, and spending time with family and friends in her time off.
