About

Dr. Poole grew up in Iowa and returned here after completing training in St Louis and Oklahoma City. Dr. Poole worked at MercyOne for 19 years before joining Broadlawns fulltime in April of 2025. Dr. Poole is the EMS medical Director for Clive, Pleasantville, Windsor Heights and at Mercy College of Health Sciences. His passions include his family, God, fishing, toxicology and airway management.
