About
Kayla Bell-Consolver is the Director of the Broadlawns Drake University Student Counseling Center, community mental health advocate, and mental health content creator. She is also the owner and founder of Question Kayla, LLC which offers mental health trainings, public speaking, and consultations through an inclusive lens. She is a Level 1 Internal Family Systems, EMDR, and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy trained therapist, specializing in inner child work, shame, and trauma, with an emphasis on racial and LGBTQ+ trauma. Additionally. Kayla actively volunteers and remains engaged in the community by offering free suicide prevention trainings, serves in leadership roles for Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., and participates in various advisory council roles. Kayla enjoys spending time with her family, weightlifting, creating mental health content on social media, and playing her clarinet.
