"As a student at Broadlawns Medical Center, it didn't take long for me to realize that I wanted to practice here. It is easy to communicate with staff members at all levels, and we have a smaller community, which makes me feel like I am part of a team. I chose to practice in plastics because I appreciate the attention to detail. I have always enjoyed the procedure aspect of medicine, and plastics is very involved in small procedures. No matter what procedure we are performing, from skin cancer removal to elective surgery, we do everything we can to create a result that the patient will be happy with. Working with Dr. Folkers has also played a large role in my excitement for plastics.
