Referral from a Broadlawns provider is required for an outpatient visit.
During your first visit, plan to spend about one hour with the Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist.
During the session, they will review the reason for your visit, assess your current eating habits, and develop a plan to improve your lifestyle and eating patterns.
