Lab Services
The Broadlawns lab is a full-service, hospital-based laboratory offering testing in numerous specialties and subspecialties. The laboratory also provides point of care testing support for several clinics within the hospital. Services are provided 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The outpatient blood collection services are available Monday through Friday from 6:30 am - 6:00 pm.
The laboratory works directly with MercyOne Pathology, led by Matthew Andres, DO. MercyOne Pathology provides medical direction to the laboratory, consultative services to the medical staff, and surgical pathology services.
The laboratory is accredited by the College of American Pathologists (CAP) and licensed by the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services Clinical Laboratory Improvement Amendments (CLIA). Certificates are available upon request by emailing Abby Knox, Laboratory Manager at aknox@broadlawns.org.
