Broadlawns Nutrition Services offers a variety of services from registered dietitians to help you build a healthy lifestyle.


Broadlawns dietitians are available on an inpatient and outpatient basis. Our dietitians are available to discuss and educate patients in regards to:

  • Diabetes Education
  • Weight Management
  • Cardiovascular Disease
  • Renal Disease
  • Malnutrition/Weight Gain
  • Cancer and Nutrition Therapy
  • Gastrointestinal Disorders
  • Eating a Healthy Diet

What to Expect: Outpatient Visit

Referral from a Broadlawns provider is required for an outpatient visit. During your first visit, plan to spend about one hour with the dietitian. During the session, the dietitian will review the reason for your visit, assess your current eating habits, and develop a plan to improve your lifestyle and eating patterns.

Healthy Eating Nutrition Group

A Healthy Eating Nutrition Group is held the first Thursday of the month from 3 p.m. - 4 p.m. in the Ingersoll Conference room. This group is open to the public and free of charge. Topics include healthy food choices, eating a balanced diet, portion sizes, how to read food labels, and barriers to healthy eating and how to overcome them. Registration is preferred but not required.
