Details
In this class we will discuss the benefits of breastfeeding, getting breastfeeding off to a good start and establishing a good milk supply, what to expect with feeding your baby in the hospital and in the first few weeks, and a few common breastfeeding concerns. Pumping and returning to work are briefly discussed. It is recommended to take the Pumping Class after the Breastfeeding Basics class to learn more about introducing the breast pump and preparing to return to work. Support people are welcome and encouraged to attend. It is recommended to take Breastfeeding Basics before your baby is born.
