Why I Chose Broadlawns for My Residency
Being from Iowa and plugged into the medical world, I was familiar with the reputation of Broadlawns and had met incredibly clever, well trained alumni. Although there were many other programs on the interview trail that would have provided good training, the reason I chose Broadlawns was the genuine kindness of the program director and faculty. Medicine can be cold and jading, and it is refreshing to be part of a medical team that is still practicing medicine for the love of the patients. The faculty at Broadlawns walks the walk!
