About
I enjoy cooking various cuisines with my kids as well as gardening with my husband. My husband and I have 2 daughters and a dog, and we all love to visit new places and travel together.
While I work as a Section Chief of the Behavioral unit, I enjoy working with students from University of Iowa every month. My passion for teaching has driven me to teach Law students at Drake University about mental health and its interface with legal system/"Psychiatry & the Law ". I am also involved with "Indian physicians of Iowa" group where we focus on mentoring/volunteering as well as serving our local community together. I am also a member of American Association of Geriatric Psychiatry, Academy of Consultation-Liaison Psychiatry as well as Iowa Psychiatric society.
