Ashley McClain, DPM, FACFAS Job Title Podiatrist What motivated you to become a doctor? I chose to go into medicine to help people and make a difference in people's lives. I am lucky that I had a supportive family that encouraged me, from the time I made the decision in high school, to pursue a career in medicine. Why do you choose to work at Broadlawns Medical Center? I chose to work at Broadlawns Medical Center because I love that this hospital is a community. I also believe strongly in helping others, no matter their life's situation. What do you love most about your job? My patients, I am lucky to treat a wide variety of patients, from young children to older adults. And of course, my colleagues and staff with whom I get to work with everyday.
