Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS)
TMS is an FDA-approved, non-invasive treatment for depression and an effective option for several other behavioral health conditions. It is medication-free, targets the brain pathways involved in illness, and is covered by most insurance plans.
Broadlawns offers a highly specialized TMS program, including the region’s only device approved for treating severe Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD), in addition to treatment for depression.
How TMS Works
TMS delivers focused magnetic pulses to areas of the brain involved in mood and behavior regulation. Treatment is non-surgical, well-tolerated, and provided by trained clinicians in our Behavioral Health Clinic.
